IIT JEE MAIN 2022

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a few amendments to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 tie-breaker criteria.

According to a recent JEE Main information booklet, age and application numbers in ascending order will be considered for the tie-breaker policy in the JEE Main 2022.

This policy will be used to break a tie between two candidates who scored the same on paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech).

To avoid a tie in JEE Main, the NTA calculates both applicants' scores up to seven decimal points.

The NTA, on the other hand, utilises a tie-breaking policy if a tie remains after computing scores up to seven decimal points.
